About Fraxel Re:pair CO2 Laser:
The Fraxel Laser systems use a patented scanning technology to deliver laser pulses in tiny dots on the skin in a fractional pattern. These microscopic laser beams penetrate more deeply into the skin than traditional CO2 lasers and vaporize tiny columns of tissue while leaving adjacent areas untreated next to each treated column. #9: Photodynamic Therapy
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a specialized two-part treatment performed with a topical photosensitizing agent called Levulan (5-aminolevulinic acid or ALA) activated by a specific wavelength of medical light. This is also known as "ALA or PDT treatment", Levulan photofacial or Photodynamic Acne Therapy.
#10: Prescription Treatments
Oral antibiotics, topical antibiotics, prescription anti-acne products or hormone regulators such as birth control pills to reduce and prevent acne activity may also be used to treat acne. Dr. Cobos and her staff often incorporate these medications to achieve the best results for each patient.
